Kitzbühel

Kitzbühel is a small town east of Innsbruck, in the western Austrian province of Tyrol. It’s a fashionable and international renown winter ski resort. The ski season lasts from mid-October to early May. Whilst the entire 235 km of trails are mostly lift inter-connected. There are 54 ski lifts and cable cars, 60 ski huts, and awarded “Worlds best ski resort” every year since 2013. So definitely worth a visit this winter.

Kirchberg is located 6 km west of Kitzbühel and has a beautiful ski resort which they share with Kitzbuhel. Kirchberg is more down-to-earth, while Kitzbuhel is more for the upper class. Apres ski in Kirchberg, is a must for young and old. Some fantastic Kirchberger Apres ski locations to end the day of skiing and start the evening are, de Eisbar With Dutch artists Dutch Music and Dutch snacks. Café Boomerang has an Australian look and has live football on the TV screens. The Boka-Bar with every evening live music, the best DJs, the nicest dancers, and the craziest crew. Iff you want to continue till in the morning, then bring a visit to the disco, Der Tiroler in Kirchberg. Here you find famous Dutch artists like Wolter Kroes, Dries Roelvink and the Snollebollekes. On the Maierlpiste you will find the Schneebar Oberkaser. Here you can eat breakfast, lunch and dinner, but also have a pint of beer or a glass of glühwein.
