We all know that some hotels have fantastic pools, but what if you are looking for something really special? Topflighthotel.com found some amazing pools for you.
DeepSpot, Poland
The deepest pool in the world is located in the Polish town of Mszczonów, which is less than 30 miles south of Warsaw. This pool is used by divers and reaches a depth of 45 meters…. nearly 150 feet.
It is deeper than the Italian Y-40 diving pool by 5 meters (over 16 feet) and the Belgian Nemo 33, by 12 meters (almost 40 feet). Divers can explore overhangs, a small shipwreck surrounded by Mayan ruins, and underwater caves, while non-divers can watch from an underwater tunnel. Deepspot also features training rooms and hotel rooms with underwater views of the pool’s interior. While it’s primarily aimed for scuba divers, director Michal Braszczynski told AFP that the facility may also be used as a training center for firefighters and for the armed forces.
Although DeepSpot currently carries the title for the deepest pool in the world, a 50-meter deep pool is under construction in Colchester, England, and carries the name of Blue Abyss
